i have read that Spanoulis and the Spurs have requested to release him but the organization hasnt answered yet,

is it so much paperwork and it needs so mucj time to release a player of his contract even when both the player and the team agrees on that?!

do the Spurs have another reliable back-up PG?

i don't see him having a problem with getting better on the spurs and contributing, they have a thing with maximizing international talent

Spanoulis says that he has not changed his mind and he still wants to leave,
it is said that he has already agreed with Panathinaikos (european champions) to sign a contract as soon as they let him go,

why it takes so long to release him?

is it because the Spurs are looking gor another PG and they wont let him until they sign one?

or is it bureaucracy?
the media in Greece report that Spanoulis and the Spurs have done all the paper work that is needed in order to release him...
