Ricky Davis...He's the player who's been there for a while now. His attuituide isn't good though so he isn't a good leader what so ever. Cory Brewer hasn't even played an NBA game yet, plus he's a rookie, rookie's don't usually lead a team (some players did). Brewer is arguably the best player on the T'Wolves now. Al Jefferson has to really step up this season and be the leader. Yes, he's 22 but who else can do the job?

Ricky Davis is there franchise player. Jefferson or Brewer havent played a game yet for the T'Wolves.

Biggest prob. for minny, they need a leader (sorry for going a bit off topic)

having not played any games for the team yet ... doesn't mean that a player cannot be the face of the franchise .... with such a reasoning luke rodnour should be the face of the sonics franchise ... and not durant & green

face of the franchise means the player you want the team to be associated with, for the present and future ... and I'm afraid ricky davis hasn't and will never be

I agree that brewer has a lot to prove ... and certainly jefferson or even foye can have such an improvement this season and actually be the leaders of the team ... still my vote goes to corey !

Big Al for sure. Brewer and Foye might make it close. Green is as talented as anyone, but looks lost on the court alot of the time, and is a defensive liability. He'll win some dunk contests, but won't be the most imprtant player for his team.

why do u need a franchise player?? the pistons championship team didnt have 1 and the current bulls dosent, if they can build a solid "team" then that better than a franchise player
