Sarunas Jasikevicius is not a 2..

and i would still start a big man next to jermaine

but i like the idea of jackson being a 3

Tinsley
Daniels
Jackson
Jermaine
Harrison

Jasikevicius/Armstrong
White
Granger
Baston/Williams
Foster

..if we dont get harrington

As it stands now, I see Indy playing a lot of "small-ball"

PG - Tinsley (best available when healthy)
SG - Jackson (decent defender & shooter)
C - O'Neal (force opponents into tough matchups)
PF - Harrington (once the deal goes through)
SF - Granger (at his best position)

If they get torched by an opposing center such as Yao or Shaq, I can see Foster or Harrison playing more minutes. And since the lineup now consists of more versatile players, I can see many options for Carlisle to work in all of the other guys.

Baron Davis
Marquis Daniels
Danny Granger
Al Harrington
Jermaine O'Neal

Bench:
Armstrong
White
Williams
Baston
Harrison

Of course, this means something like Tinsley, Jackson, Foster and two of our next three first round picks goes to Golden State.

31's lineup will be the most likely starting lineup, but daniels could beat out jackson.  I dont think Jackson will be traded inless a good deal comes up.  Say what you will about Jackson I cant even stand the guy whining on the court but hes one of the few pacers that can hit the three.  So inless we trade for another shooter I dont see him going away  Sad

PG - Tinsley - Very capable when healthy
SG - Jackson - Not my favourite, but probably the best we have at the 2
SF - Granger - Could have a breakout year if given the start at SF
PF - O'Neal - Hope he can remain fit, needs to re-establish himself as a premier PF in the league
C - Harrison - I like how he is developing as a player, could be dominent this year

If the harrington trade finally goes thru this line up willchange obviously. whats the latest on the harrington deal? any developments?

I've noticed that a lot of Pacer fans think Harrison will start. Have you been watching the same player that I have for the past two years?

The only thing that Harrison is capable of dominating is the summer league. Sure, he has shown signs that he can be a good player, is nowhere near the level of Jeff Foster when he's healthy.

Harrison will need at least another year to even be considered a legitimate candidate for the starting position.

interesting how talk about shawne williams has dissappeared, like everyone just expects him to do nothing this year.. but i would still like to see him with 10 mins a night.. to seehow hes improved since high school..

but i can see why walsh and bird where high on james white.. he should of been a 1st rounder.. i watched his summer league games and feels like we got 2 first rounders this year..

and the starting 5 thing.. lol well ive counted about 6 different possible lineups.. good luck rick

Three years ago Baron Davis was possibly the best overall point guard in my opinion.. lol if only he could return to that.. and get traded to pacer land
