San Francisco Gate -
Quote
Training camp for the Warriors starts in a little more than six weeks on the campus of BYU-Hawaii in the town of Laie, Oahu.

Meanwhile, over on Maui, coach Don Nelson is fretting about his so-far stalled efforts to renegotiate his contract.

His representative, San Francisco attorney John O'Connor, is keeping mum, other than saying Thursday: "We're not near a deal, but we're not at an impasse, either."

The Warriors aren't even saying that much. Club president Robert Rowell, citing organization policy, won't discuss contract negotiations.
