Does anybody in any part of the world other than Australia know anything about our national league, the NBL?

I'm from Australia and know the NBL - these days even that's hard to find hahaha... In my oppinion it really isnt as bad as the 'nba is so much better diickheads' say it is.  Ofcourse the nba is so much better, why people have to mention that is just rediculous... It is now getting all our players back from Europe that we lost and is getting alot of awsome imports from the States... the players arnt th problem - it's the fans - not enough coming to games to get a salary cap way over a million (Its like on 700 grand now???)... once the fans start coming back to the games in as large numbers as they were in the 90's then we will see even better tallent in the league...
Do you think it spanding over three countries now will be good for it?

yeh I do. I reckon the Singaporeon people will embrace it, and they have put a fairly decent squad together over there.

I am from Melbourne and am personally looking forward to seeing the South Dragons play. I think they are going to help put bball back on the map in Oz.

I think it's cool that they got a team called the 36ers.  That is the only Aussie team I can remember.

I'm very interested in one of the newest teams, the South Dragons, being led by former Timberwolve and Spur Shane Heal. I'll keep a close watch on their progress, may even buy a membership down the line if they're successful.

I have watched many a NBL game but the league just doesn’t seem a professional outfit. Especially when compared with other international organizations, especially European leagues. There is even a team called the Singapore Slingers!? C'mon, worst!

yep I agree on the Dragons. Will definitely be going to their first few games. the memberships are fairly cheap too. & they have some solid players..

& yes, slingers = WORST NAME EVER. (p.s. they are absolutely LOADED on has-been NBL stars, therefore they will be good now and surprise people but in a few years they will be trash just like their team name).

Join the club. But the Sixers unfortunatly will probably suck this year cause they bought in old players. I got a membership and have played ball on the main court at the Dome.
