good run by the pacers.. but as a fan moving forward there has to be some major roster moves for us to be considered contenders.  i know we'll have a lot of cap room but how do we go about acquiring a star player? who do we keep? what roles do our current players play in the future?

i wouldn't be opposed to trading granger/hibbert if it lands us a star player.  i don't feel you can build around players with their talents, two second option players don't equal a go to guy.  they would both be great pieces to surround a star player.  we can't have hansbrough as our starting PF, he'd be a great energy guy off the bench taking the place of foster, but relying on him to produce for big minutes is too much to ask of him.  i would like to see them open it up for paul george a little more.  this being his rookie year it was expected for him to be in the background, nobody expected him to come out blazing, but expand his offensive role.  he was known as a scorer coming out of college so we know that mentality is in him.

Pacer's are gonna have one heck of a team this year. Best shot at winning the championship since the 1990s Reggie years? I should think so.
