Depends on what you mean by 'underrated'. If 'rating' is a ratio of shoe ads and magazine covers to basketball talent, you could make a strong case that TD is the most underrated baller of the Nike era.
If you judge by the esteem and regard of serious basketball fans, Timmy's one of the most highly rated players of all time. Right where he should be.

i wouldnt say he is underated he just not really big in the media because he dosent have a wild personality or a huge ego.
Everone knows he the greatest pf in his era(i wouldnt say all time duncan era there not alot of great bigmen), just that because he not a flashy player with a big personality he dosent get enough media attention but he isnt under or overated
