My first trade sucked for Detroit so I tried again.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=981~1031~617~2789~530~1777~883&teams=8~8~8~8~13~13~13&te=3002:8-1999&cash=
+first round pick to LA (Farmar (22nd pick) slightly better than Detroit's 1st round pick)
Detroit would look to draft a PG with the 1st round pick anyway and LA doesn't need Farmar since they got Crittenton.

Billups/Hunter/Farmar
Hamilton/Stuckey
Prince/Evans
Odom/Maxiell
Kwame/Mohammed/Turiaf

Fisher/Crittenton/Vujacic
Kobe/Murray
Walton/Radmanovic
Wallace/McDyess/Cook
Bynum/Mihm

Better. It dont think Detroit would think about it but thats me. I do think Rasheed would fit in nicely in LA but not sure about fitting with Kobe.

May be just me, but I see no way Detroit trades both McDyess and Wallace for anything less than a Tim Duncan/Kevin Garnett type - and Odom just doesn't qualify.

Point taken. Kwame and Odom combo doesn't quite match up to McDyessa and Wallace combo, but I tried compensating for it. Evans for example is a very good perimeter defender.

I'm doing it from LA's point of view.

...and that is why it's bad.  lol.  If I were Detroit there would be no way I'm trading those guys unless I get someone like Camby.

no way this trade happens.... Odom and Kwame are not Detroit style players... they don't play defense. Kwame is a bust... I never did realize why LA traded for him, especially giving up Caron Butler... never made sense at the time, and still doesn't. YOu want to do something to help LA... get rid of their front office.. especially Kupchak... that is a start.
