At this point in time of his career, what team will benefit the most in acquiring veteran forward Juwan Howard from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Howard has managed to stay generally healthy and has proven that he can still be a very productive offensive player on a per minte basis. And since his game is not predicated on athleticism and strength, age and "mileage" does not affect his game as much as it would other players whose effectiveness stem from their "God-given physical gifts".

Personally, I think that the addition of Juwan Howard would add depth and stability to teams like New Jersey, Cleveland, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix. I would even go further to stay that having Juwan Howard on any of these teams' bench would even increase their chances to advance to the NBA Finals.

What about you? What do you think?

Yes, I think he can help a team to the tune of 15-20 minutes a game. It's all about the size of his contract... The close to $7m/year he's earning is at the top of what I'd want to pay but he does give you some cap relief in two years time.

I definitely think he would be a reasonable pickup for a team needing a little more depth and cap relief down the road.
