The Wolves traded a 2008 2nd round pick for Udrih from the Spurs.
What do you think about the trade? Does this mean that they will trade Jaric?

No they waived him already.  They did it to help them pay for the Howard buyout.  They got Udich and cash for the pick.

The Wolves have to finish the 2008 season with one of the 4 best records in the NBA for the Spurs to actually collect the pick.


There must be some league rule against being able to cut a player and being able to bring them back right away?  

And maybe just maybe this is a way for the Wolves to grease the wheels to eventually trade Walker or Jaric to the Spurs later in the season?

Please explain your thoughts on this.  I mean, it'd be nice to unload either one of those players, but I don't see how this trade would help them do that.
