It's gonna take Conley 2 years to develop anyway so Marbury won't be a hindrance to him. Swift has 2 years left in his contract if he takes the player option (6.2 M). It's a waste of money for the Grizzlies if he does since they've committed to Milicic.

Knicks
1. Experienced PG in Stoudamire who Isiah himself drafted
2. Lowry is a solid PG prospect unlike Robinson (5'7'' SG)
3. Swift can provide the defense they lack in the frontcourt
4. Get rid of Marbury

Memphis
1. Marbury is an undisciplined, defenseless player so he should be able to manage in an undisciplined, defenseless team.
2. Lee is good
3. Damon wants out
4. Conley and Navarro have made Lowry quite expandable.

If it wasn't for David Lee, I would say this makes sense.

The Knicks aren't giving away Lee. And if they are, they are not doing it in a Marbury-for-scrubs trade.

Swift and Lowry fit the Knicks' needs more than Lee. He isn't a SF although that's who the Knicks should definitely be starting him at SF right now with the way Q's struggling.
I wouldn't give any more than this from the Grizzlies or take any less because of Marbury's reputation.

But Swift doesnt do anything lol. Lee rebounds. And never mind Conley, the Grizz are high on Lowry, cant see them letting him go to get Lee really.

That said, they would of course be happy to get those awful contracts off their books and they'd have a big asset in marburys contract next year.

Overall i think both would say no but NY would say no first lol

But isn't one great PG prospect enough? I guess it could be like the Ford-Calderon tandem, but then you also have Navarro in the mix.

Yea, I feel very insecure you defending anyone suggesting we trade Lee for Kyle Lowry.

Sit down.

I'm sitting down.. Lee's a PF, Zach's a PF, Marbury sucks. It's not that complicated.

kyle lowry is a 2nd string PG.

David Lee is not a 2nd string PF, Zach is a dumb ballhoggin *** who doesn't pass and shoots 40% from the field.

EDIT: dont abuse people in here, fool!

Lowry could develop into a good starting PG. I hate Zach too, but obviously Lee's not gonna be put ahead of him in the rotation even if he should be.
