I think it is too optimistic to say Wiz will improve their defense because "EJ is going to be preaching D from day one."
EJ HAD BEEN "preaching D from day one" last season too, but the Wiz still sucked last season. This could be due to the makeup of the players, or due to the coach (preaching is one thing, teaching and strategizing is another), or both. That is why Wiz has mentioned getting a "defensive coach," but I still has not seen the follow-up on that.
