Here it is, please remember that JO makes alot of money, is constantly injured, and the Pacers have a better record w/ him out the lineup. I already kno i'm gonna be swamped w/ he's a all-star blah blah blah, let's be resonable

He is not an allstar here this year, but would probably be incredibly good in the LA triangle.  The reason he is injured as that for the last couple years he has been asked to be something he is not, a Center.

He is a power forward that added pounds to his frame to bang down low in a stodgy half court offense, that had no one like Kobe on the outside.  He was getting double and triple teamed coming off the team bus.

In the triangle, with Kobe, the opposition can not gang cover him, so he should last longer.  You have Bynum and Mihm so he can go back to PF where he should be.

In this new offense, in Indiana, Kevin Garnett wouldn't put up all star numbers.  This system is about motion and balanced scoring.  The more people in double figures the better.  That doesn't work well with a person who wants to go one on one in the post every time down.

Systems can make players, and they can also ruin players.  Dunleavey is playings incredibly well here right now, but couldn't get off the Warriors bench.

I would like to keep Murphy and Harrison right now, since both are becoming productive in this offense.

I say no to the trade, not because of what we get back, but rather the extras we lose.  There is some interesting chemistry here right now, and I would hate to see that messed with.

Well put, but it has been well documented that Indy wants to get rid of Murphy and his big contract that being the reason why I made a 4 team deal instead of the usual JO for Kwame/Vlad/ and Sasha deal.

Even though u did make a point KG would def put up All-Star numbers on that Indy team, KG has always been on a higher level than JO. For some reason Pacers fans think an injured JO deserves Bynum in return which is not the case. Bynum played every game this year and is averaging a double-double while when JO plays he can't even pull down 10rebs

if we got a young promising player in return.. say, crittenton then the deal might be more acceptable.  this trade would leave the pacers extremely thin on the front line for next yr with only ike/foster.  the salary space will be good but when was the last time the pacers made a big splash in free agency?

remember GMs have to try and explain the trade, and this would be hard,

"we gave up our franchise player and murphy for crap!, who wants cake?"
