I hope Wizards' fans appreciated Eddie Jordan's comments after the game. Arenas is definitely putting together hall of fame career with his abilities; but, don't look to Arenas to make a good team great. Not with his current attitude.
Eddie Jordan named great leaders in Steve Nash, Jason Kidd. Nash took a mediocre team and made it into a West Conf Finals team for two years and Jason Kidd took the Nets out of the gutter and into the NBA Finals twice. And they're work ethic and team play were just as important as their offensive execution.
Guess it is kind of harsh for Coach to say the obvious and indirectly bash Arenas after the game - but he's making an important point for teams that want to improve. I think Coach is actually challenging Arenas to change and become a leader by his comments. Kobe's become a leader in last two years ( he didnt have to be more than a hotshot during 2000-2 titles). Kobe's changed his whole attitude and Lakers are benefitting enormously so Arenas could become that valuable a player too.
i totally agree, too right.
