Bill Simmons made the comment that he thought the Wizards would be better off without Arenas because he's a shoot first pt guard.... would u guys agree with that, and if so, what is the lowest value you would accept in return? Like would you guys take Kirk Hinrich, Tyrus Thomas, and Joakim Noah for Arenas?

Steve knows my view on this and my answer is 'yes they should move him' but it is not easy to get what you need in return. The reason Gil is a problem is thus:
He's a shoot-first pg who cant defend good shooting guards.
This single fact creates big problems when building a team (around him)

they most likely won't get equal value if he stays, and their future is done if jamison walks, they've certainly got some interesting decisions to make, arena's would probably be the most valuable playing with another superstar as a complement, because his game demands to much help from the supporting cast
that is, unless he becomes a much better defender and/or much better rebounder

Id love to get Chris Bosh for him. But as mentioned, it would be very hard to get equal value for him. Might as well keep him, pray for the lightbulb to come on for Blatche, draft another big, and hope to squeeze 2 more good years out of Jamison.

He's a combo guard, the Wizards have about four of them on the roster right now (when healthy).
