I use to play live back in the 90's then it bacame garbage then started playing the 2K series but recently that hasnt been to good either.  Whats the best BBall game out and whos making games this year.  I heard a rumor that there wont be any 2K or ESPN BBall games this year.

Both Live and 2K are released the same day this year. I'd be purchasing 2K if I were you.

I like the 2K series better than the Live ones. The players look less cartoony in 2K and the game is much more realistic. The AI actually plays defense, unlike in Live where you can do about 5 spin moves and go straight to the hoop on every possession with Derek Fisher.

The live series has gotten garbage. Its getting faker and faker. Live 98 was the best. The physics of the game actually felt real. People actually fall down when you run at them.

which one has better graphics, which one is more real life play, and which one is more fun. can some one plz tell me. i want to buy one on boxing day(ok, maybe some people say i'm cheap, waiting until boxing day, but i'm going to keep positive and say it is smart).i don't want to buy a game and regret

I have Live 06. All you have to do is take Amare and do little floaters running towards the basket. Never Fails. Or if you Stromile Swift or Josh Smith just do the superstar dunk thing and no one can stop you. its really cheap. Oh and kobe never misses shots. Ever.

Yeah i hate that.  But wasnt last years 2K a little weird too
