Utah is still upset with Kirelinko, and need a better backup PG... and another SF that can play an all around game, and get the ball to boozer, take some of the scoring off that Kirelinko would lose, and give them a younger player in Gomes that would buy more into the coach's X's and O's.  They also get Theo's expiring contract, and any playing time he would be able to give them until then... which would be shot blocking specialty.

The Wolves need another big man to be able to play with Al Jefferson.

Girecek gives them a guard to play, and a contract to expire.

It's not as wonderful as getting rid of Theo, but Kirelinko could be a great player to add to this team... still young enough great defense, amazing shot blocker, and he can score double digits.

was it ever really alive?  I mean I know Utah is upset with AK but witt the way he is playing I highly doubt they will be moving him for so little in return.

no it wasn't ever really alive.

The point is after trading Girecek the whole idea of mine is pretty much dead.

Getting rid of both Giracek and Kirelinko would have been wonderful for the Jazz, but they did much better.
