Who do you think the Wolves should take in the upcoming draft if they end up with the #1 pick?

I think the Wolves should take Rose.  I believe that Rose is going to be an elite PG in the NBA.  They could slide Foye to the 2 (which is where he is better off anyway) and have an outstanding back court to team with Big Al.

Derrick Rose.

If Foye works out as a PG, then Michael Beasley.

get beasley.  beasley can play inside and outside so his game will mix well with jefferson's.

C  jefferson
PF beasley
SF brewer
SG mccants
PG foye

rose won't be good for at least 3 years based on how raw he looks now, and beasley is too good to pass up.

Jefferson is much better as a PF than a C, thus Beasley would have to play SF.

Derrick Rose, please. That way we can trade the nut case McCants to a contender looking for scoring and move on.

mccants is a great player for this young team, even if he's only good at scoring now, if he stays healthy he'll improve so he won't be so worthless on defense

I'm not talking about his ability on the court. I'm talking about how crazy he is. He is seriously twice as bad as Ricky Davis with his attitude, especially with Garnett gone.

Dwyane: youe are DEEP IN the lottery by now, lol. But closer to the 1st pick maybe. Smiley

tong: Gerald Green is a brickhead. He can excel on fast-paced teams like GSW and PHX. Not in Minny, where our strenght are not 3pt shooters and fast big guys, but half-court offense, pick&rolls and feeding Big Al down low.

Physically he has all the talent in the world. he's also a streaky scorer...but he needs to go to a different team. That's why they didn;t pick him up. Oh, we also have aplethora of SG/SF's on the team, so one of them needs to go.

Gomes will be a FA next year. Unrestricted, since he's a 2nd round pick. I think he will leave the bad Wolves team for a contender looking for a do-it-all guy. With the fat FA market next offseason, he'll get a deal in the 2-3 million range.

Foye is a combo guard. 6'4". They want him to play PG, but personally I'd rather see a less-shooting Telfair playing PG and Foye at off-guard who can handle the ball at times.

Or better yet, Derrick Rose. Another 6'4" guy, but this time with PG skills. Two combo guards like Rose/Foye would be a force. Shoot, slash, fade-away, dunk, layups in traffic. Choose your poison.
