In a Wizards win over the craptacular Memphis Grizzlies, everyone's favorite Ukrainian NBA player Oleksiy Pecherov saw limited action but managed to score 2 points (on 1 of 2 shooting) and was also able to notch a blocked shot.

I thought Sabonis was Lithuanian? And I kind of got tired of the joke (although I still strongly support Oleksiy Pecherov and his Ukrainian-urban/english dialect).

Oleksiy Pecherov is a project, I saw him play @ GMU in the preseason vs. Dallas. He was pretty good, I also predicted Jose Berrea would make the roster and start for Dallas, so I consider myself knowledgable about NBA basketball!
