San Antonio 105
, Minnesota 88
SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 12 (AP) -- Manu Ginobili scored 22 points and Tony Parker had 21 Saturday night to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 105-88 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Tim Duncan added 15 points and nine rebounds to help the Spurs snap a two-game losing streak and get coach Gregg Popovich his 600th regular-season victory.
Al Jefferson led the Timberwolves, who have the worst record in the Western Conference, with 24 points. Ryan Gomes added 21 points and nine rebounds and Rashad McCants scored 17 points.
The Timberwolves have now lost two in a row and nine of their last 10. They've dropped 14 straight on the road.
The Spurs trailed 45-44 at halftime before they took the lead for good with an 11-2 run in the third, capped by a 3-pointer from Michael Finley.

*shrugs* Oh well, it was the Spurs. At least they put some effort. I was kinda surprised they were leading at the half but I expected a big push from Manu in the 3rd.

I didn't see the game but its good to see that the wolves are finally getting some consistantsy from Mccants. The thing I like about this team is that they still come out and play hard every night (except for the Houston game).

Don't get too happy on him. He's bound to follow it up with a couple of bad single-digit games. But for now, at least it's falling for him. I really like the way he gets to the basket, he should do that more often.
