With Bynum out for at least 8 weeks, should Bird offer up Oneal???

This will be a slow recovery for Bynum.  Their season could be lost before he recovers, and even worse he could try to come back too soon and really do some damage to that patella.

Okay that was mean.  You have to admit, of all the trades to go down in the NBA over the last decade or two all blunders, including Indiana trading away a 1st round pick for a guy we shipped away half way through the season, pale in comparison to the C.Butler for K.Brown trade.

The Lakers are not a dumb franchise, but...
