Bye Pollard, hes going to the cavs.

http://www.ohio.com/mld/beaconjournal/15305590.htm

Its to bad I would of liked him to come back 1 more season, we just didnt have enough room for him this year.  Our team still needs another big I think, Harrison is the only true big center we have.

Personally I have no problem seeing him go. He rarely contributed. He was too injury prone and took too long to get aclimated to the Pacers style of play. He rarely produced anything positive, and I'll be happy to see us sign a dependable, high-energy guy that can take his spot on the roster.

Heck, even John Edwards is an improvement in my opinion.

haha and how many pacer games did u watch?..

.. when he was atcaully on the court he was infact very handy.. only reason i dont mind him going is so we can maybe bring in a more athletic younger center..

Pollard was a hard worker and hustle guy, but not much else tho, but sayin edwards is a improvement is bad, he just a big body who was average in college and nothin in the Nba. Least pollard was a fans favorite and energy guy

Umm....it's not really a secret that he struggled to fit into the rotation. And I don't think you can blame Carlisle, because Pollard struggled to stay healthy AND productive.

The bottom line is that he never fit in with the Pacers. He never played an entire season while he was here, and his rebounding, blocks and scoring averages were just barely higher than his ROOKIE season.

He was brought in to be the high-energy, hussle, dirtywork, defensive player off the bench. Everyone expected he'd be the same player that we all saw in Sacramento.

He turned out to be a disappointment. He appeared to be a shell of the player he was in Sacramento.....And you don't need to watch every single game to figure that out.
