everyone wants something for nothing... that trade is complete garbage.  memphis has swing men/small forwards, and joe smith and adrian griffin, that package is a joke, i mean cmon.  at least give them a good big man to fill the void left by gasol, like tyrus thomas or joakim noah.

a more fair trade might be thomas, noah, and griffin for gasol.  thomas and noah are unproven but have potential to better than gasol.  whereas gasol has already proven that he's a good player, which to me is worth more, since potential rarely yields results (just look at the success of the average lottery pick).  so bulls would still get a better deal, but at least it would be more equitable. dunno if the salaries match up tho.
