REPORT: Chris Webber in preliminary talks with old coach Don Nelson, Warriors January 25, 2008
FREE PRESS STAFF REPORTS
Detroit native and ex-Piston Chris Webber could return to a former team, but it could be his first team in the NBA.
The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that Webber and Warriors coach Don Nelson, in his second stint with the team, have patched things up from the two's falling out when Webber was a rookie in the NBA.

The newspaper is reporting that Webber and Nelson have talked by phone about a second tour with Golden State.

I don't think BD would let c-web's *** *** attitude get in the way of their goal. plus i think its hard to steer a team off course when you have such great chemistry already and you're only get 10 minutes a game. usually guys that destroy team chemistry are starting or at least getting major burn or major bucks. c-web, nellie, and everyone else knows that that he's not coming in here to take over or contribute anything major. sign him and if he starts his BS let him go, hopefully nellie will be man enough to admit he was wrong and release him if it goes sour.
