Yea its pretty much been ever since he was suspended during the fight in detroit. In 2003-2004 he finished 3rd in MVP voting and played in i think 78 games. Then in 04-05 he was suspended 15 games came back from suspension had a 55 point game averaged 24 ppg and then injured his shoulder. And missed pretty much the rest of the season and played the playoffs. He played 44 games that year. Then 05-06 51 games.  06-07 69 games. Then this year he has only played 33 games. So yea its been since the 04-05 season that he has had injury problems.
Here is the actual games played since he joined tha pacers

00-01 Ind 81
01-02 Ind 72
 02-03 Ind 77
03-04 Ind 78
04-05 Ind 44
05-06 Ind 51
06-07 Ind 69
07-08 Ind 33

I think he would have played more games and better this year if they had shut him down last year.  He played on an injured knee all 06-07, which delayed his surgery to the off season.  He races to get back, and after colliding with Shawne Williams on the already weakened knee, it just won't heal.

I don't think he will play any more this year.  They either want to peddle him off in the summer, or have him 100% next year.  Playing him at less than that is just prolonging the stupidity and shortening his career.

Yea that makes sense. It would have been interesting to see what this team could have done with him at 100 % this year. I understand he wanted to be on the court but he probably should have sat out at least the first full month of the season.

i think he will comeback soon but i don't think he will make a difference when he comes back cause theres only 20 games and they are pretty far from the playoffs.

he needs to shut it down so they can get a lottery pick. it won't matter anyway cuz he's gone next year anyway.
