Philadelphia 76ers President Billy King announced today that the team has signed free agent forward/center Alan Henderson to a contract. King also announced that the team has signed rookie free agent forward Ivan McFarlin. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Ivan McFarlin did good in the Summer League for the Sixers, averaged 9.7 rebounds, but we know the Summer League doesn't mean much. Who knows if he'll be with the team all season long or even see any playing time.

The main pick-up was Alan Henderson. His career high 39-points came against the Sixers back in 98, so maybe he can get some of that magic back now that he's with the Sixers? haha He'll help us out with depth a lot. He's a good rebounder, he's averaging 5.1 for his career. He was a first round pick back in 95.

I like that pick up. What does everyone else think?
