we picked tinsley late in round 1.. but arenas was #1 pick in second round..

Did Tinsley play college ball? or was he straight out of high school? and did he have a reputation for injuries when we drafted him?

tinsley came out of Ohio State.. he is 28 now.. and he wasnt injury prone at the time..

Iowa State and it was a good pick. I'm sure. I'm sure the 30 or so teams that picked in front of Golden State would love to go back in time and pick Arenas too. There is always someone who would have been a better pick in every draft.

What if we picked Tayshaun Prince or Nenad Krstic in 2002 (Fred Jones)?

or Michael Redd in 2001 (Primoz Brezec)?

or the best one in 1999 (Bender) when we could have had Marion, Rip, Jet, Artest, or Ginobili...just to name a few.

At the time that Tinsley was taken, there was a debate about whether to take him or Parker.  Tinsley was older, had a toughness about him and was the safer pick.  Arenas was seen as a good, undersized, shooting guard.  Few thought he would be a solid point guard.  Goes to show what the experts know.

yes this would be a scary team, do it on nba live or 2k, its the closest to reality
