Donta smith has a workout with the bulls. What do you think, does it make sense to add another foward to chicagos roster, or can he be the missing scorer for the bulls???

Why does everyone think Chicago is missing a scorer?

Because they have no scoring All-Star, no clear cut go-to-guy. I think that makes them more dangerous, personally. Any night, any player on the Bulls can get you. But this season will be the one that cements Hinrich as the face of the franchise. He's gonna be an All-Star this year, I just know it.

Yea that's my point exactly.

Just becuase one guy on the team doesnt average 28-30 points a game ppl think the Bulls dont have a scorer......

The Bulls are one of the best at team scoring and team rebounding. Their team defensive is awesome as well.

Funny how every basketball coach ive ever had has told me basketball is a team sport. No one player is bigger than the team.

Even if the Bulls supposedly needed a scorer, do you really think that Donta Smith will be the missing scorer.

yes, they don't neccessarily need a scorer, they have scorers but what they need is the players to step it up offensively and be consistently a force to reckon with, that also needs to come with time though

Yea most definitely. The new veterans will help the young guys when the pressure is on.

Thats exactly what the Bulls have been lacking, the experience to get them thru the tough games.

all the bulls need is a inside scorer, because all the scorers of them score at the perimeter. I don't know if smith can score inside, as I've never seen him playing...

Smith is decent scorer who can defend a bit but he is another outside player, bulls need a inside scorer.

Id imagine it would be pretty hard to stop the Bulls if they did acquire a low post threat.

No, no, no!

The Bulls are at a big disadvantage without a bit, "in the paint" scorer.

1)  You have to keep defenses honest.  A scoring threat in the paint forces opponents to keep their big man at home on D.

2)  A scoring threat in the paint can create open shots for your perimeter jump shooters and slashers, by drawing the double team and kicking out the pass to the open man.

3)  There are days your jump shots are going to be off, especially against teams with good perimeter defenders.  You need the inside scoring option.

lol Ben Gordon and Kirk Hinrich will be allstars in the next 2-3 years... Gorodn before Hinrich... Bulls do not need an allstar like Bryant or McGrady because their whole team is their core... not just one player...
