Seeing how Ernie Grunfield and the Wizards staff rarely makes big moves, I am wondering on when or what will be the next Wizards acquisation. Every team are constantly in trade talks and signing talks, so where are the Wizards in this?

Who will we draft?

Will we sign Arenas to a max contract?

This off-season better be big for the Wizards and their roster.

Well rumors have told me that Gilbert is still looking to opt-out of his contract after the end of the season. He wants a max deal and looks to get one with any team. I believe that Ernie Grunfield will give one to him, it is well deserved and with him hopefully being fully healthy by next year, the Wizards could be on top of the weak Southeast division.

Hopefully it involves not resigning Jamison if he asks more than 9 mil per. Sure he gets boards but when we face real bigs he gets abused. His offense is awful, he only scores because he shots 20+ shots a game. A 8-20 shooting night would be good for his standards. He is good when he goes inside but insists on taking random outside shots when his outside game is average at best. He really is hurting the growth of guys like Blatche, if Blatche took 20 shots a game he'd be averaging around 20. He kind of reminds me of Al Harrington in Atlanta, someone putting up stats, but stunting the growth of the young guys. When you consider he is already 32 years old he's not worth a big contract considering his average offense and liability on defense.

I agree 50% with you. Although Jamison takes bad shots, he is still a huge weapon on our offense, and when he isn't in, we don't have anyone to play in the post. He is experienced and a leader. Most likely he will go, since it was rumored that earlier in the season, but I will love for him to stay. I think Blatche's game has improved even when he is coming off the bench. From my perspective, he is still a young player that needs to learn from the Vets on our team. Without Jamison, we won't get points in the paint, rebounds, assists.
