I like the first trade better, because it makes Haywood that much more expendable, especially since Pryzbilla is a whole lot more productive than Haywood.  Also where does Miles play, he has no discernable basketball skills, and if they resign Stevenson (which is likely because I doubt anyone's going to sign him to big money after his showing in the playoffs), there's no chance of him starting.  Plus he's a headcase and really the Wizards should only have to endure one headcase, and I'd rather it be one that can actually contribute.

I like the second trade I mean Arenas, Caron, Miles, and Randolph that's contender considering it's the East.

You must be kidding right? Randolph is a problem already, but at least he fills a niche in the Wizards. Randolph + Miles, you got problems times two! If Jordan had problem with Haywood, he will have more problems with either Randolph or Miles.

The difference between Randolph and Haywood (which I'm sure you're well aware of) is that Randolph actually puts forth a good amount of effort at least half the time.  It would be a disaster if Miles came with him though.

I think Haywood got a bad rap on this "effort" thing. But since he does not want to be here, no sense of keeping him here.

Do you know Randolph has been criticized for his "effort" as well? However, Randolph is a better player than Haywood (esp. offensively), period. That's why I said he fills a nitche in Wizards. But he also has more off-court problem than Haywood.

Totally agree with you on Miles

lol, the second trade was a joke guys. here's another one:

i thought that the wiz were at a jam with bigs during the season, and that their backup guards were terrible. well, this trade solves both probs, and gives the blazers what they want and need.

opinions?

The problem I have with Haywood stretches back to his college days, because he puts together these little stretch runs in games where he looks great and you wonder why he can't do that all the time.  Plus he whines, a lot.  And yeah, Randolph has the same sort of work ethic problems that Haywood has, but his ceiling is a good bit higher (and we've already seen that he can reach it for an entire season), so those things can get ignored for a little while.  Also I'm of the thinking that as long as they don't get any more crazy people to tandem with Randolph he shouldn't be too much of a problem for the Wizards.
