Duncan is good, but I'd still go with the Admiral.  Over a career, Robinson has a higher effeciency rating, he was a better leader and should at least warrant a tight debate.

Without a doubt, Tim Duncan. How many titles did the Spurs win before he got to town? Um, uh, let's see. Sure, The Admiral was there for the first two, but he was getting older day by day, and just couldn't shake off the injuries of year's past. Without Tim Duncan, San Antonio would be at the bottom of the league year in, and year out.

Duncan made the playoffs without Parker and Ginobili. In fact, he won a title without Parker and Ginobili. Sure, at the time they had Vinny and Avery, but just pointing out facts. Yes, a healthy Ginobili makes a huge difference, but without him, Spurs are still title contenders. With him healthy, they win the title. But without Duncan, they go nowhere.
