The Minnesota Timberwolves have decided to let guards Sebastian Telfair and Kirk Snyder become unrestricted free agents by not extending a qualifying offer, the Associated Press is reporting.

The Timberwolves did not extend a qualifying offer to Telfair because they would have had to pay the point guard $3.5 million next season. The team still wants to get a deal done with Telfair, who is entering his fifth season and played well when Randy Foye missed most of the first half of the season with a knee injury.

Sorry, but I don't see a reason for this topic, when this was mentioned in two topics already, which contain something more than a press-release copy&paste.
