Spurs to Sign Pargo?

The local San Antonio Newspaper: "San Antonio Express News" website mysa.com is reporting that the San Antonio Spurs have shown interest in New Orlean's Free Agent Jannero Pargo. It is believed that the Spurs have offered Pargo around $2 Million.

Pargo's agent, Mark Bartelstein said that it is very unlikely that Pargo will resign with the Hornets, and that other teams, including the Denver Nuggets, have shown interest.


If the Spurs do sign Jannero Pargo, the likelihood of re-signing Michael Finley would be going down. However, as Spurs' fans may have seen during the Play-Off Match-up against the Hornets, Pargo is a proven three-point shooter, and can pass the ball well. Pargo's agent said that Pargo should be out with a decision in about a week or two.
