agree, but i think noah is also a non-scoring 4.  so they really need to play Gray more and maybe trade noah or gooden.  or if noah can bulk up he may work at 5.  that kid needs to learn to catch a pass on the interior.

I don't get it, why everybody got a problem with a player on the Knicks? I see why them guys be treating the fans like they do. You people highlighting Zach flaws need to quit it. He's a good player that can shoot from outside and give you a banger inside. He has all the skills, but just because Knicks has done bad, doesn't mean it's his fault. When they acquired him they already were bad with billboard names on the team. So obviously something was wrong with chemistry. Especially now that we have J-mall talking about how he doesn't want Steph on the team. I tell you how this would work for the Bulls and why. Listen, we lack interior scoring and if you browse a site call Youtube and search for Zach Randolph mix, this guy clearly gets it done from inside to the three-point line. Plus, I know many will say that he doesn't play defense. Well guess what, Drew doesn't play good defense himself. I mean we're banking on this guy to hit every jump-shot from 15 feet, just to claim he had a breakout year on his final contract year. Huh? Please, if I can get this guy from them for Joakim and Hinrich or any other trade that doesn't involve Rose, then I'm for it. I've heard guys from John Hollinger to Chad Ford say we need to get interior scoring from a Center or Power Forward. And the stats are clearly showing we need to. Last, I'm not woried about the defense anyway, Thomas has made a living playing Defense in the paint, why do you still think he's here?

Forcast:

PG: Rose (He automatically comes more free of double-teams with Zach on the post, which means more deadly drives and highlight reels)

SG: Gordon (BG becomes more wide open for spot-ups)

SF: Deng

PF: Thomas (He can focus more on what he does best - defense!!!!!)

C: Randolph (Comes to his favorite city and showcase his GO-TO-GUY ' ssssss.)

Oh please!

The guy's a black hole on offense. The reason that people highlight his negatives is because they actually do overshadow his positives. The guy is a black hole on offense. He's a lot like Orlando Woolridge was (I think it was Joehoo who initially brought this to my attention). He can make himself look great with very good numbers, but the fact still remains that teams become worse when he plays for them and become better when he leaves them. Just look at Portland and New York. New York actually looked like they could be on their way up before he went there, they'd managed to put the Bulls down to the 9 spot for the draft that year, but then he goes there and they're once again amongst the filth of the league. Portland, on the other hand, has a great improvement.

On top of that, he takes guys down with him. Eddy Curry was actually looking like he could once again return to his near all-star form before last year, but then Randolph goes there and drags Curry down about as far as he possibly can. I'll admit that part of that is because Curry is another black hole, but at least Curry doesn't demand the ball as much and doesn't take stupid shots like Randolph does every once in a while.

Seriously, how can people be so fooled by stats when actual success counters them so obviously? The guy's a horrible teammate, even if his character issues are cleared up, his style of play still doesn't help teams out and actually has shown to clearly make teams worse. Don't let yourself be fooled.

and thats why GM's keep taking a chance on him and then regretting.  you see his 20/10 numbers and are like 'niiice' then youre thinking 'hey maybe this time he'll change his mentality.'  but he wont, so its best to forget about it.  but i think if you can trade hughes straight up, AND are not looking to try to get Bosh or Wade or whoever (which they should) then go for it.  maybe he'll change this time.  lol!

That's the problem with GMs though, they don't realize that it's not the mentality, it's the actual skill level he has which allows him to put up very good numbers, but also makes the team that he's on worse every time. The guy just doesn't have the skill to make the team he's on better, no matter what kind of stats he puts up.

I really hope Zach proves you guys wrong at some point. Because what your saying isn't always true. He's a chemistry killer, but not much else negative beyond that. He is NOT Stephon Marbury. He's not going to make you suck. He's a guy who's numbers don't reflect his value.

ben gordon was a guy he trusted and always passed to when he was open.  those other guys are not the kind of shooters i'm talking about, they are more mid range guys.  how many times did we see rose get hinrich, deng or salmons a wide open shot and those guys would pump fake then try to step in to get a better shot and end up passing up a wide open 3 for a contested 20 footer? they are not the kind of guy's rose needs.  i said when he was drafted that deng and hinrich had to go and
