I don't get it, why everybody got a problem with a player on the Knicks? I see why them guys be treating the fans like they do. You people highlighting Zach flaws need to quit it. He's a good player that can shoot from outside and give you a banger inside. He has all the skills, but just because Knicks has done bad, doesn't mean it's his fault. When they acquired him they already were bad with billboard names on the team. So obviously something was wrong with chemistry. Especially now that we have J-mall talking about how he doesn't want Steph on the team. I tell you how this would work for the Bulls and why. Listen, we lack interior scoring and if you browse a site call Youtube and search for Zach Randolph mix, this guy clearly gets it done from inside to the three-point line. Plus, I know many will say that he doesn't play defense. Well guess what, Drew doesn't play good defense himself. I mean we're banking on this guy to hit every jump-shot from 15 feet, just to claim he had a breakout year on his final contract year. Huh? Please, if I can get this guy from them for Joakim and Hinrich or any other trade that doesn't involve Rose, then I'm for it. I've heard guys from John Hollinger to Chad Ford say we need to get interior scoring from a Center or Power Forward. And the stats are clearly showing we need to. Last, I'm not woried about the defense anyway, Thomas has made a living playing Defense in the paint, why do you still think he's here?
Forcast:
PG: Rose (He automatically comes more free of double-teams with Zach on the post, which means more deadly drives and highlight reels)
SG: Gordon (BG becomes more wide open for spot-ups)
SF: Deng
PF: Thomas (He can focus more on what he does best - defense!!!!!)
C: Randolph (Comes to his favorite city and showcase his GO-TO-GUY ' ssssss.)
Oh please!
The guy's a black hole on offense. The reason that people highlight his negatives is because they actually do overshadow his positives. The guy is a black hole on offense. He's a lot like Orlando Woolridge was (I think it was Joehoo who initially brought this to my attention). He can make himself look great with very good numbers, but the
fact still remains that teams become worse when he plays for them and become better when he leaves them. Just look at Portland and New York. New York actually looked like they could be on their way up before he went there, they'd managed to put the Bulls down to the 9 spot for the draft that year, but then he goes there and they're once again amongst the filth of the league. Portland, on the other hand, has a great improvement.
On top of that, he takes guys down with him. Eddy Curry was actually looking like he could once again return to his near all-star form before last year, but then Randolph goes there and drags Curry down about as far as he possibly can. I'll admit that part of that is because Curry is another black hole, but at least Curry doesn't demand the ball as much and doesn't take stupid shots like Randolph does every once in a while.
Seriously, how can people be so fooled by stats when actual success counters them so obviously? The guy's a horrible teammate, even if his character issues are cleared up, his style of play still doesn't help teams out and actually has shown to clearly make teams worse. Don't let yourself be fooled.
