All I can say is it's about time. The team needs a serious shakeup and here is the first step.

Not surprising.  I actually thought this would happen when I read that BC went back to TO today, instead of staying with the team.

Hello 13th pick in the draft! Weeeeeeeee!

merry christmas, sam.

I think this was the shakeup they needed.  I'll be interested to see who they can get.  The players need to know there are consequences for not doing what the coaches ask.

Jay Triano: first Canadian head coach:  good luck buddy: these guys are struggling.

Someone should sticky this lmao

Ballfreak got his wish!

I think they are going to do what the Wizards are doing, see how this coach plays out the season, and then go after a coach at the end of the season after seeing what they couldn't accomplish.

It hasn't even been a year since people on this board thought we were 2 "moves" away from a championship.  What a difference 8 months makes.

Well, Sam had some good and bad times but both sides needed this. It was about time, all the best to SAm and I'm sure he'll be a head coach/assistant coach somewhere else.

I really hope BC dosent hire some run and gun coach.  If that happens we are screwed...

I'm really curious to see the next moves the raptors make.

I absolutely love Colangelo's patience, or lack thereof. The guy is totally assertive and as soon as he sees a problem he deals with it.

now bring on JVG!
