join my fire kevin mchale bandwagon!!

this guy did so many awful things.

-fired flip saunders, then rthe team was worse when he too over(smells like history is repeating itself?)

- traded emerging superstar brandon roy for a role player randy foye

- shouldve asked more for KG, big al is doin great but still, KG is KG

- traded upcoming superstar OJ mayo for kevin love and mike miller(who is on a slump)

what's the future for this team with him?

In his defense, Foye for Roy wasn't as stupid on draft day as it would be today. Every draft day trades like that one go down. For example, Mayo for Love. Also Ray Allen for Stephon Marbury. See? Everyone can make mistakes. It's not just McHale.

Pure bull$hit. He took a .500 team and made 19-12. Hardly worse, if you ask me. He's also a better coach than Randy Wittman.

The reasoning is bad. If Roy was an emerging superstar back then, why didn't he go #1?

Of course, T-Wolves needed a SG mroe than a combo, and here his fault lies.

He took the best deal possible at the time. The mistake was not taking Chandler, Deng and the #2 pick a year earlier.

He took the team over in the wake of a murderous tour over the US, when we face elite team after elite team (sans Sacramento 2 days ago and NYK in 3 days) so I am not surprised that he's 0-7. The team is playing with more heart though.

Why fire him? The season is done anyway. Let him coach us until the end, at least he gives our youngsters serious burn. After we finish the season worse than last year (like... 20-62? 18-64?) Taylor will let him go, give Freddie Hoiberg the GM spot and hire Flip Saunders. We'll be on the right track.

This is all part of the process, so I'd appreciate if people who have absolutely NO CLUE about the T-Wolves current state of things would actually justrely on the one's that know. Firing McHale would be idiocy right now, I'm not even mentioning starting such a bandwagon.

I'll start it at the end of this season.

^ I agree 100%.  The only thing I would like McHale do is to give more playing time to Love and Telfair.  I really cannot understand why Kevin Ollie is getting so many minutes and Telfair is sitting out entire games.  Also, we need Kevin Love to develop.  He will develop a lot faster playing in games rather than sitting on the bench.  Last night Mark Madsen plays 9+ minutes and Love doesn't even play 7.  Just ridiculous.

Sorry Iam bored so I'm going to pick apart your quote

You do realise he's already stepped down from the FO right?

Quote
-fired flip saunders, then rthe team was worse when he took over(smells like history is repeating itself?)

He led the team to a 19-12 finish that season
Quote

- traded emerging superstar brandon roy for a role player randy foye

I won't get into this too much but if Roy was considered such an amazing superstar on draft day he would have gone 1st.

Quote
- shouldve asked more for KG, big al is doin great but still, KG is KG

Like what? As czaras mentioned we passed on a deal that might have been better but it was either Big Al and some solid guys like Ryan Gomes or Andrew Bynum and veteran crap.

Quote
- traded upcoming superstar OJ mayo for kevin love and mike miller(who is on a slump)

Nobody could have seen that Miller was going to be like this and while Mayo is doing well I don't mind Love. If you've seen some of Kevin's passing you'd understand what I'm talking about. Besides we are alot better financially from that deal.

what's the future for this team with him?

You have got to keep up with the news. He's already stepped down from the FO ergo he is no longer in charge. The future is no longer in his hands so this question is redundant.

Now please leave the forum. Or I'll use my super secret mod powers on you [/quote]
