They are rookie contracts / minimum contracts.

The trade should go through. Should it be better if i trade them one by one?

lol no that is not how it works man.

to Cavs:
Jeremy Pargo $457,588 1
D.J. White $1,036,440 1

to Heat:
Dikembe Mutombo $6,000,000 1

How does that work financially?

the heat (former pistons) have plenty of cap space

deal

No the trade doesn't work.  Rookie contracts cannot be donated like veteran minimums.  You guys can probalby figure out a way to get this trade to work, but we can only allow a trade to be approved if it follows the rules and works within them.

This trade does not work as is, as Zu and Boogie have pointed out.

Yea we don't care that much, you'll always find a way to make this trade work, and we have nothing against this trade.  But we have to at least make sure it follows the rules financially.  Your trade is approved obviously, once it works financially.

I do think this vet minimum exception is turning the trades into a bit of a joke and making it unrealistic. I know I made a trade that was proposed and thought there was no chance it could work financially, and through all this ridiculous trading maneuvers the guy got it to work so we traded.  I think we need to think about these rules in the future eh...............it's become a joke.

EDIT:  NIce maneuvering Prime, well done.  Trade looks good and is approved.

lol ^ I totally agree.

I was talking to Sizzle on msn and I was arguing with him that there is no way that our trade would work but then he gave me a message with at least 30 trades on it. Cheesy

Yea I think in the future we need to reconsider this whol Veterans Minimum exception.  I doubt very many agree with that because they love being able to maneuver any ridiculous trade and make it work, but it really is almost mocking the entire system itself.

We might as well just do away with the whole 125% rule and any other trading guidline if we keep allowing these atrocious 20 trade deals(which all of us have done, including myself, haha).  But there literally is no point to having rules anymore if we allow it.  Like your trade didn't work initially, then another part didn't work within 125%, but it doesn't matter and I am just being a nuisance pointing it out, because all you have to do is throw in a Vet Minimum guy or two and then it works.

Bah!
