Did anyone see the game tonight? I mean Tyrus was great and so were a few other people but c'mon. It's the f***kin' Timberwolves!!!! We should have won this game easy 1-2-3!!!

I think this game is an even bigger reason for Pax to get off his *** and find us that center we've been pining for. Hopefully this game will make him rub his eyes and realize what is going on here. Losing to a team like the T-Wolves is a little disheartening. The next few games coming up should and BETTER be wins (minus Portland).

So who exactly can we beat if we can't beat the Twolves... I mean i knew Bulls were low when they lost to Memphis, but got TWOLVES!!

You can look at it as though they are recessing or you can look at it like I do that the honeymoon with Del Negro/Rose
is over. This is what this team is. They did it last year, and it still hasn't changed. Until there is a major roster shakeup, the Bulls will remain this way.

we need to get rid of the numb nuts' like noah and hughes, then the overpaid deng and hinrich.  try to bring in guys with heart and that fire to win like only great teams have (that swagger of champions).

maybe we have to assess vinny's coaching as well.  shouldve offered the job to stacey king.

Stacey could at least be a big man coach. They claimed Mike Brown really helped Aaron in that role last season, not sure why he wasn't retained.

i think stacey would give this team an atitude of winners.  he usually offers up sound advice. now of course i dont know if vinny recognizes these same thigns and just cannot get the team to do it, but stacey seems like he knows what could make this team win games.  perhaps paxson had even discussed this with king and he didnt want to id; i have no clue.  but i had always hoped they would have given him the opportunity.

ANOTHER NOTE:

bulls are without Drew Gooden, Luol Deng, and Kirk Hinrich.  all of whom are/were/could have been starters.  so thats a pretty huge loss right there.  if the bulls were playing like this when all 3 of those guys were playing, then we'd have BIG problems.

Bulls Suck, Paxson Sucks, This is rediculous....Kevin Love put up huge numbers against us, thats awful. Now that there are no good bigman around Paxson is probably gonna go try to find a trade to bring in another has been scrub. Look who is available... JOE SMITH. Paxson will probably think he is a genous an go get him.

I can hear the Kaman trade forums being typed has we speak. So before the stories grow like a rash let me offer some realism. Kaman is getting old and has several pricey years left on his deal. I would much rather see the Bulls make a move or moves that could get them an extra first round select or players that fit with Rose but have smaller/Shorter deals. I mean do we really want older centers with big bulky contracts? And do you think if they get someone like Kaman they will be able to beat Boston or Cleveland ? Sorry but No. It's time to face the true. The maybe the 8th seed in the playoffs and that's it this year. The Bulls better hope that The King James goes for the Money and leaves the East, Which will likely not happen. That's why I feel building for the future is a smarter route. Move players that don't fit what were doing with Rose for expiring deals, Draft picks or young potential. We don't need Kaman. Now if we could get Miller for say? Hinrich and a 1st round pick. That's a good deal. Or Deng, Gooden to the Lakers for Odom and a couple future 1st round pick that's a good deal. But dealing away the small value we have for an aging center with a high priced multi year deal is stupid. We could even just play the cards we got and make a block buster deal on draft night for Thabeet or BJ Mullens or add a mid 1st selection and get a shooting guard and maybe AJ Olgivy. No need for desperate moves.

Things for Paxson to do:
Decide if Deng is a bust, If so then when is best to move him.
See what Hinrich is worth to other teams.
Does anyone want Hughes ?
Could Ben Gordon be talked into a trade?
Do we still want to develop Thabo, Tyrus & Noah?
Get rid of bad deals without getting bad ones in return.
Figure out what type of players fit best with Rose & go get them.

When you talk about Miller... are you talking about Brad Miller? Because if Kaman is old then Miller is ancient! lol An your right Realistically the only way we stand a chance is if Bostons big 3 start getting REALLY REALLY old and if King James leaves the East. But losing to Minny....i dont know where to start, We should have traded Hinrich last year in the draft when it was filled with young potentailly good bigs. Honestly I do like Kaman and i think he is really pretty solid but the only way we will make noise is landing 1 or 2 of those big free agents in 2010!!!! Amare N Wade!!!!!

Yes Brad Miller.

Chris Kaman: 08/09 9.5m 09/10 10.4m 10/11 11.3m 11/12 12.2m

Brad Miller: 08/09 11.3m 09/10 12.25m

Aquiring Kaman would help don't get me wrong, but it won't solve the problem long term. And by the time Paxson gets the rest of the pieces he needs then Kaman will be old and slow. Kaman is 26 now and yes Brad Miller is 32, but Miller would help also and be much less a finance to the Bulls. He would come off the books in 2010. I spend some winter's in Phoenix and though he is good, I wouldn't want Amare. Call me crazy but he is selfish and the fans there have a love hate reletionship with him. I have thought long and hard about D-Wade. He would be great. I have some reservations because he needs the ball in his hands alot, He isn't really a catch and shot player. But his talent can be morphed to fit well with Rose.
Now, do you think Sacremento would trade Brad Miller and a filler & their 1st round pick 2009 for Deng & Hinrich?  That's the kinda deal I would want to see. The Bulls rid thierselves of two big deals and get a post player and a future top 10 pick. The main point is, This whole thing is about winning championships right? Is their one piece that can help the Bulls do that? No, I say No. It is gonna take several pieces and a couple years to build. Your right they should have traded Hinrich during the draft last year. The Bulls currently are a collection of pieces that don't fit together. In the past it could be blamed & said that they had no identity. Now they do "Derrick Rose" So now we have a young star surrounded by the mis-fit toys.

Here is the trade: (Add a 1st round pick)

I wouldnt do that trade. Especially cus the draft isnt that strong this year. Brad Miller isnt really gonna help the bulls all that much, Kaman would be alot better and so what if his contract is longer. Thats what the bulls need and they will know they can have him for a good amount of years and kaman wont be old at the end of his deal. He'll be 30-31ish which is younger then what miller is right now lol

GmJames thats interesting, its deffinetly a fresh new idea, you gotta think that the Kings will probably end up getting within a top 5 pick to go in that trade. I would probably say the Bulls would go big an go for Jordan Hill, THabeet, Monroe or Mullens i guess. I havent seen much of Jordan Hill but he seems to be a decent PF, Although i love Thabeet, he just doesnt have the offense, but if you pair him with a scoring PF then he would be great. Monroe has been making some noise lately, but again he isnt a Center and then Mullens has done nothing this year but has the talent.

i'm tell you something, and i hate to say this. the wolves are not that bad of a team. the real matter here is when is rose, going to get his calls??? also the buls have been played on phony calls. if you see the replays on how noah, is being called for ticky tack fouls. he is energy to this team, also we are lacky a gooden, kirk, and a deng, which i'm not to happy with. but it does take pressure of grodon, and rose, when playing together.

again minny, has a squad, they have a nice post up player in al. they have gomes, and foye. i think, what they are missing is a decent shooting guard. the wolves are like us when we started last season, real bad. that's all.

and yes, we need a BIG MAN A.S.A.P.
