I think I would play in Darfur for a million dollar guaranteed contract, let alone Canada. If a player doesn't want\refuses to play in Canada, they shouldn't sign a contract in any league that includes a Canadian city. The CBA should include clauses that players under contract that are traded to cities/teams they don't want to, or refuse to, play for void their contracts. The team shouldn't have to pay\buyout an unprofessional player simply because they don't want to play for someone.
Not a bad idea considering david stern is trying to expand the sport worldwide, i wouldnt be surprised if he makes some sort of clause that if you dont want to play for a certain city and dont report that you get a huge loss of contract money which would go towards the team....one can dream cant they...
