i honestly think this team will make playoffs this year.. im calling it right now.

- healthy
- rotation in place
- alot of home games remaining
- the losing month of december is long gone
- other teams are tiring
- we are looking alot better in close games and we all know pacers games are won or lost in the final 2 minutes
- we have the expericnce
- we have the hunger, murphy is #1 and Dunleavy is #3 in most NBA games without playing in playoffs.

their lineup is alright, i think that in years gone past wwith this lineup they would of made it, but now the east is getting stronger, so indiana might just make the cut, or they could just miss it which would be heart breaking for indiana fans.

We have a weird team this year, and it has me confused.  While I see Daniels as a decent player, I didn't think he played all that well before he got hurt.  Now he is back, and you pull minutes away from Graham, who has earned his minutes, and give them to Daniels.

We have a starting lineup with no inside presence on offense.  I see a combination start clicking and never see it again.

Jack is playing well but still makes bad decisions.  Ford plays well, but starts looking for his points at odd times.  Diener won't play much for the remainder of the year barring illness or injury to the other two.

I never thought I would say this, but we are tooooooooo deep.

Maybe we trade away some pieces.  There are teams looking for pieces, and we have them in bunches.

yeah some two for one deals.. to reduce rotation.

but remember Daniels and Nesterovic come off the books this year... which helps reduce rotation.

I think we have many expiring contracts.

Teams will want Nesterovich for his contract, but it would be silly to let him go.  He contributes and gives us Cap room next year.

McRoberts, Graham, Baston all expire at end of season.

Diener has a player option and I fully expect him to leave and go to a team that he can play on.

Jack has a qualifying offer next year, but I suspect we make him an offer.

Daniels is at a team option which makes him the perfect trade material.  He is a very good player, but I think he can be spared.

alot of your hopes of making the playoffs depend on whether or not the raptors and sixers get it together, they have better teams on paper but haven't got it done on the court, if either or both of these teams gets rolling then i wouldn't bet on the pacer's chances

^^ thats true, but im more worried about pacers losing easy games to sub .500% teams and not catching up to 8th seed before its too late.

but if they can make a move before the allstar weekend, watch out.

Rasho and Daniels both appear to be on their way out at seasons end... why are these guys still playing over Hibber and Rush/Graham respectively.  We are not winning much any way, and I'm not saying we should pack it in.  But these guys need minutes since they are the future of the team not guys who are presumably leaving.  Even if we do make the playoffs as a 7/8 seed do you think we will beat Cleveland/Boston/Orlando?  I still believe in some of the guys we have but I don't believe in the coach.
