The Boston Celtics, led by Captain Planet, has won over JR Smith's Cleveland Cavaliers, 6-4

Quote
Cleveland wins a close one, Artest/Battier play lock down D on Lebron but I think Mo Williams has a big game because Alston is obviously Boston's weak link.  Cleveland is incredibly deep and Boston cant overcome this.

The Chicago Bulls meanwhile, has won over the Bucks, by a score of 3-7.
Quote
I think that chicago will take the win in this one, they boast a very strong lineup in almost every position on the starting front and the bench, where as Milwauke lacks depth in alot of positions. Although they have alot of good shooter Mil i think that Chicago will take this one out!

Las but not the least, the main event of the evening, the Lakers managed to escape with a win, beating the Blazers 6-4 on a close tight battle.

Quote
LAL beats Portland Kobe has a nice game as always but so does Brandon Roy. Ben Wallace and Greg Oden cancel eachother out and there is a constant struggle for rebounds resulting in Greg oden fouling out. Mario chalmers shoots well but turns the ball over multiple times resulting in fast breaks for the Lakers. Turkgolo shoots well but in the end it is the Lakers bench that wins the game.

I will post some comments w/o authors on why such teams like BOS, CHI, and LAL have succeeded in winning their respective match-ups, you can post your thoughts here.

P.S, my fellow mods, dont sticky this, we dont need 100 stickies, cheers. I left it out as an unsticky in purpose.

I don't even know who i voted for, but looking at Boston's roster real quick he still has a solid *** team(with Artest/Battier/Pierce/Garnett).  Plus it was a home-game for Boston, I know I take that into consideration for voting.  Look at the real Cavs, undefeated at Home this year, yet like 12-8 on the road......big, big difference!

Who said that thing about the Bulls having a good starting lineup? Ariza and Odom aren't even starters. If anything that's their weak spot.
