If you had to pick two players to start your franchise, who would they be?

For me it would be Matt Ryan and Patrick Willis. Two great young players that can help pave the way for the future of your franchise.

Calvin Johnson-DET-WR
Troy Polamalu-PIT-SS

If Calvin was on any other team i think he would be better than Larry Fitzgerald, and troy hes fairly young, and so dominate it was a toss up between him and Ed Redd, but Troy is younger.

and my team would be

Steve Hutchinson and DeMarcus Ware

I couldn't decide who was the best offensive tackle in the league because there are so many, but I almost went with Joe Thomas or Jake Long for the first one.  I ended up going with Hutchinson because there is no debate, he is the best guard in the league, protects the quarterback's blindside, and creates holes for the running game.  Is it any coincidence that Sean Alexander was the MVP with him, and when Hutchinson left he began to suck.  Or how about Adrian Peterson (yes, he's a beast), but again, u can find solid running backs from nowhere.

On defense, again, I almost went with Mario Williams, Jared Allen, or Albert Haynesworth.  But I settled on Ware because he is the best pass-rusher in the NFL right now, can step back into coverage, and play solid against the run.  His size, speed, and strength allows him to be a defensive end in a 4-3, or an outside linebacker in a 3-4.

U guys may think I'm nuts, but football teams are built inside-out, and it all starts with the lines.

LOL the Hartford Whalers, nice, I don't know that the NHL would be all to pleased with that name-stealing though haha.

Calvin Johnson is a VERY talented wideout. It's a shame he has to play for such a sorryass team.

I'd go with Calvin Johnson and Philip Rivers. From there all you need is a decent offensive line and you've got yourself a solid offense since the WR to QB combo will also open up the running game.

the NHL doesnt own the name to the whalers any more, a group bought the rites to it so they could sell it to whoever theyd like, they baught the name, colors, theme song, everything that was the whalers, and were working on the team, Lions superbowl champs of 2013

The two most important things to have is a QB and a pass rusher so I will go with Matt Ryan and Mario Williams.
