Barbosa's rumored to be traded. The problem is that the Hawks wouldn't have a real PG but Joe Johnson, Flip Murray and Barbosa could share duties. Then in the off-season they can try to sign Kidd, Andre Miller or Bibby.

Nah, both teams wouldn't do it. Horford is not the scorer PHX needs (despite being very good) and what do they need Bibby for? to play backup?

Hawks blow up their playoff bound team just for Amare? I think they'd rather go with the frontline they have currently. Remember they really wanted Amare BEFORE drafting Horford.

Hawks would have to give up too much for Amare which would hurt them in the end.

From ATL's side, we would need another PG. Law isn't ready and Flip is nothing more than a stopgap. Trading Bibby without getting a "true" PG back would hurt.

But if PHO is willing to take Horford as the main piece coming back in the trade, then something could be worked out. If we could convince Speedy to retire, then his contract would help in the discussions a lot...

I said it before, but I guess I'll say it again. We won't put both Smith and Marvin in the same deal for anyone. Honestly, it'd have to be the "right" piece(s) before we'd put 2 of Smith, Marvin, and Horford in a deal, but we won't trade both Smith and Marvin in any 1 deal.

the suns don't need bibby at all, there are other expiring contract out there that can help them stay competitive, bibby isn't one of them
