the pistons today have traded Alex Acker to the clippers for a few quarters, some pocket lint, and a button from that shirt that you cant seem to track down.

but with this it puts the pistons below the luxury tax threshold

does this influence the chances of joe dumars pulling off something substantial in the next 3 days?

who is Alex Acker?

Seriously................I spend hours every day reading/discussing the NBA, rumors, stats, etc....I know every player's averages for the most part.

Who is Alex Acker?  Cheesy

Apparently after a google search this is Alex Acker:

hes the definition of a borderline d-leaguer that rides the bench, and another guy that the clippers will take because he's shot a basketball before

actually acker is pretty decent and has been unoffical pistons player for around 4 years. He is much better than will bynum, he should make a decent backup for the clippers, or even end up starter if baron is traded

I would expect Collins or Hart to, Collins started when Baron was injured earlier this year.

I do not Know how AckerĀ“s NBA career is, but he spent a year in Spain, playing for Barcelona team, and he did not show anything there. He usually came off the bench backing up people like Lakovic and even Grimau, and was not very lucky.
