Drew Gooden got waived, man that shows what an expiring contract is worth compared to the player.

Andres Nocioni starting for the Kings

Thabo Sefelosha starting for an injured Durant but getting minutes off the bench before that.

Joe Smith, waived since he wasn't playing much.

Larry Hughes, firing in limited minutes, maybe they're limited because he fires up so many shots.

Cedric Simmons got a few minutes for the Kings in one game.

Michael Ruffin I saw got in a game for Portland, the trip West did him some good I guess.

It actually makes me happy to see him doing well. Like I've said before, he wasn't going to be doing this with the Bulls, so it's good to see him able to actually do it.

The Kings waived Gooden because they wanted to give Jason Thompson as much playing time as possible. Gooden is too good to just bench.

Agreed, I can't wait to see how he does on the Spurs.

By the way, what are your thoughts on Ruffin carrying your team to victory recently?

The word is that Gooden has a sports hernia and may need surgery.  If true, he probably is out for the rest of the year.

However, if it's true, why would he take a pay cut rather than sit for the rest of the season at full salary and pay for his own medical costs?

That doesn't make sense to me.
