We have talked about this guy before, a possible D-League player the Bulls may have wanted to pick up.  Well he is now a Rocket on a 10-day contract.  Luther Head was released to make room for him.

Wow we serously could of used him now...especaily with Deng possibly out for the season. They released Luther Head to get him...Head isnt that bad of a player either. Bulls should of dropped Roberson and signed White to a 10 day contract at least. Give him a chance. Worst case scenerio...he is on your team for 10 days...best case scenerio....He turns out to be a Jermario Moon/Doug Christie type player for us. I hope the Rockets release him.

Yeah, I'm sure that after the Deng injury they really wished they'd made a move to give him a short term contract to at least give him a try while they figure out how long Deng's out for. I can't believe they released Head, but with Wafer and Brooks there I guess he was expendible. I wonder who'll pick him up.

head has been garbage since his rookie year, every time he gets an opportunity in a big situation he chokes, he's an 11th or 12th man at best

Yeah, but you're on a forum with a bunch of people from Illinois who really like him a lot more than most other people out there.

Bulls could use a deadly 3 point shooter...He will find a home somewhere. They say New Jersey is looking at him.

Eh, Bulls have Salmons and Gordon who can regularly hit the 3, and guys like Hinrich can also be deadly at times from the outside, so I think they're fine as far as three point shooters go.

I meant next year, Gordon an Hinrich could possibly be gone. Its always nice having a 3 point specailist on your team. Korver,Kapono,Steve Kerr exc... lol Budinger could be very interesting if he could bring that to the table consistantly at the NBA level.

True. To be honest, I don't think a team really needs any more than one big three point shooter, which they have with Salmons, but I do agree that you need other guys who can occasionally hit the three ball. Budinger would be a great guy to bring in for that very reason, also if they keep Tim Thomas for another year he could be another one. The three point shot is pretty overrated anymore in the league, but you still need guys who can hit it.

this is coming from a rockets fan that's been frusterated with his play almost every game for the past 2 years, especially in the 07' playoffs when he completely let his team down with practically the only thing he's good at, stay far away from head
