I'm shocked that the Dutch are playing so well. I wonder if that'll help baseball to grow in Europe.

Well I think its more those islands in the Caribbean that are owned by the Dutch, such as Curacao and Martinique, where baseball will really grow after this win.  They have a lot of untapped potential there.  I'm still more shocked at how the Dominicans choked again.  If they had a healthy A-Rod, Pujols, and Guerrero, they would have had the 3 best positions players in the game in Pujols, Rodriguez, and Hanley Ramirez.

Venezula beat TEAM USA 5-3 last night to win POOL C, but what I don't understand is how Ven, won POOL C with 1 loss in a double elimination tournament and TEAM USA only had 1 loss as well, eh well guess it only matters as seeding in the next round.

On to Miami and a tough game coming up with Puerto Rico.

Venezuela tied with the US and won the tie breaker by beating the US.

True, but I still think it could help baseball's popularity in Europe, which, to be honest, is pretty much nothing right now.

Go Cuba!

Puerto Rico just raped USA 11-1 7 inning mercy rule, Vazques for Puerto Rico gave up 1 run in 4 or 5 innings, I hope he pitches that well for the Braves this season. USA plays Netherlands tomorrow and loser goes home!

I have watched over 90% of the games the Chicago White Sox have played since 2004 and i will tell you now, Javy Vazquez will struggle to get to .500 ball and if the Braves make it to the playoffs, every game he pitches in will be an automatic loss.

Canada is in it. They have like 3 Minnesota Twins playing in it! Love it!

But I'm going to pick Venezuela. I love that team's style.

Wow, your pick is looking good there!

Did you see the game tonight? He was so sharp and throwing first pitch strikes and then killing em off with the breaking balls, I know of his past and I know we only got him really was too eat up innings to save the bullpen some but tonight gave me hope, it may be false hope but he did look good on this one night and from what I hear this entire Classic tournament so far.

oh no man, don't get me wrong Vazquez will strike out about 200+  but he has some REALLY bad games where he will give up 5,6,7 runs.
