Ted Lilly was seriously on today. That's about as good as I've seen him pitch in a Cubs uniform, and it's great to see him off to such a good start this season. Last year he had that rough start but was money from there on out. If he can pitch well this entire season he could possibly get 20 wins. Despite the bad start he wasn't far off last year.

Cubs are now at 5-2 and pending the Cardinals/D-Backs game tonight, could be back where they belong (if the Cardinals lose) by the end of the night.

LoL The Mets gave up a Home Run to the first batter they faced in their new stadium, Padres lead 1-0. Huh

yeah I personally loved Pelfrey falling on the mound. That was funny.

Anyone think the Mets will sign Pedro this year?

I don't think anyone is willing to give him 5 mil though.

Naw i think Livan Hernandez will be good enough to at least keep him at the 5 spot.  Teams that you should look for possibly sign him are the Angels and White Sox.  Angels are short pitchers with injuries and the death to Adenhart while the White Sox are currently starting two guys that are as risky as can be in terms of injury.

Braves down to Fish 5-1 bottom of the 9th.

Javy Vazquez only gave up 3 runs on 5 hits in 6 innings and struck out 12 but we haven't hit tonight, It looks like javy will take the loss!  Sad

Wow, really? No outs bases loaded and no runs scored. Screw you Cuddyer and Crede. You both like men.

Redbirds looking for their 6th straight tonight in Arizona and currently are leading 1-0 in the 4th inning.  And is there a single greater player in the game than Albert Pujols?

@GOAT

What you think of Florida? They have gotten out of the gate quick, but I don't know about their bullpen and defense. Hanley Ramirez should be nasty this year though
