As currently constructed, I don't really think so, as the grind throughout an entire season is much different than a couple of hot months.
However, I feel they have the structure of a 50 win team, just not all the pieces they'll need.

...You have the presumptive Rookie of the Year, Derrick Rose, whose brought veteran-like leadership, and you have defensive pieces in Tyrus Thomas (a slightly more athletic/less offensively gifted Josh Smith) and Joakim Noah (a more polished Tyson Chandler). In my opinion those three pieces as they stand, are keepers. If you can get Deng back healthy and back to his 06-07 form next year, move John Salmons over to the 2-spot (expecting Gordon to come back next season is a little far-fetched), and get a dynamic bench player in the off-season to come off it with Hinrich and Brad Miller. You could definitely move into the 50-win column. There's a lot of talent on that Bulls squad.

I believe they are if you look at there record since the trade deadline they have played very well especially considering they lost a few games trying to incorporating their new players into there offense. Its tough to look at the bulls record and gauge how good this team is, they lost a lot early on trying to find an identity, many of those games where characterized by selfish individual play, which we all know doesn’t play to our strengths. Now that we have proper ball movement we see Noah and Tyrus begging to become offensive threats, and I believe this style of play could really cater to Deng’s game. So I believe they are a 50 win team as currently constructed.

I think I'd have to say yes, that if the season started again with the personnel the Bulls have right now then they could easily be a 50 win team. Especially in an Eastern Conference devoid of stellar playoff teams below the top three.

I would also have to say yes. I really like the team you have now. I think as someone else mentioned earlier, a legit down low post player would make the Bulls a contender. I think the Bulls are a very good team right now. Derrick Rose is going to be a beast! I love how he plays.

My guess would be the Cavs given his name.

I am diehard Cavs fan. However, I enjoy watching basketball in general. And I like watching the Bulls play!

Sorry you won't be getting 4-7 more games to watch us this season.
