After tonight's game. I was wondering, that why not sign RIP, if gordon walks. This mean if RIP, is a free agent. Hmm, i think the bulls should pursue him if gordon walks.

Bulls / Bills / Marlins / Noles ben gordon was a guy he trusted and always passed to when he was open. those other guys are not the kind of shooters i'm talking about, they are more mid range guys. how many times did we see rose get hinrich, deng or salmons a wide open shot and those guys would pump fake then try to step in to get a better shot and end up passing up a wide open 3 for a contested 20 footer? they are not the kind of guy's rose needs. i said when he was drafted that deng and hinrich had to go and |

You're right pressure. But he might want to opt out, and go else where if wants to continue to win. I doubt the pistons will ever be the pistons that they once were. So i'm pretty sure that he wants to win.

It's basically what's more important to him, consistent winning (they could be a good team in the not too distant future though), or his loyalty to the Pistons. My guess is that it's going to have to be an elite team to lure him away from the Pistons.

hes not going anywhere. write it down. pistons are not gonna have a year like this next year.
but now that I think about it, wouldn't it be funny if he wanted to go play with Chauncey in Denver, he has said that Chauncey is his best friend.

He is a UFA. And could bring tough inside play and a big body at PF, plus he runs the floor well for his size.

I don't think it's a Power Forward that they need, but a Center. I think Tyrus Thomas is a good fit for the bulls at the PF spot. While I think trading for Miller was a great move, I don't seem Miller as being a Long-term solution to the Bulls problem of Big interior players. Putting Rip next to Rose would be nice, but Rose already has Hinrich and Gordon doing that for him. |

Provided we aren't making a move for a big ticket PF (Boozer, Stoudemire, Bosh) this summer, Jason Maxiell, Chris Wilcox or Brandon Bass could be solid pick ups for us. Give us a little post offense in a starting or bench role. |

I like the idea of letting Tyrus & Noah continue to develop. I think Maxiell would be a nice piece to have on the bench. Paxson like addition from subtraction. And Maxiell would fit that idea. I agree Miller isn't long term. But they have Noah Miller and Gray now. And Noah and Miller next season. So adding a young rookie center like Mullens etc. would work out. Maxiell made 1.8 mill this season, So we could sign him for not that much( 4 mil) . We paid Gooden 7 million. And Tim Thomas makes 6 mil.

Deng/Tim
Salmons/Rookie
Rose/Hinrich

Maxiell isnt a bad backup for Tyrus. But like some one said if we arnt going to make a trade this summer, i like the idea of grooming Tyrus and Noah. Mullens is the guy we need. Yes he has big bust potential but he also has stud potential too. With the right coaching, he will be good no doubt about it in my mind. And we talk about how Ben Gordon wants to be paid so much but isnt Hinrich way overpaid? Yea his contract decreases as the years go by but still, is he even worth all the money that he is making to be a backup? I say trade Hinrich for cap space and re-sign Gordon because i dont think Salmons is going to be a long term solution either. He is 30 next year. You let Gordon go, Hinrich is your starting SG for who knows how long.
